'October' is Frank Society's long awaited first single. After two long years both gigging and exhibiting in art spaces around Melbourne, the 5-piece bring this sweeping ballad capturing all their best elements.

Written in October 2015, the song was birthed from the first jam they had with their now bass player. Frank Society are not only a band and art project but also a family. Their tight knit friendships and James and Justin's birthdays were largely the inspiration behind the lyrics.

Early this year, Frank Society escaped to Aireys Inlet to record with Casey Hartnett of shoegaze gods Sleep Decade fame. Nikita Miltiadou put his stamp on the song with his mix with Adam Dempsey adding the final touches.

'October' captures the essence of Frank Society at their most emotional and nostalgic and most of all, dreamy.
